Since childhood, Muhammad Bejita has had a hobby of swimming, just like his father, who turned out to be a former athlete in swimming. So do not be surprised if Bejita is able to win every swimming competition. His name became known at the 2018 Asian Para Games in Malaysia. From the Olympics, he won 2 gold medals in the 100-meter backstroke swimming category in 1 minute 3.6 seconds

Muhammad Bejita — a disabled athlete from South Sumatra. This man who was born in 2000 turned out to have a hobby of swimming from a young age.

His name became famous when he participated in the ASEAN Para Games, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. There were two gold he got from the championship. The first gold medal was won in the 100 meter backstroke swimming category with a time of 1 minute 3.6 seconds. And for the second is the 50 meter freestyle swimming category with a record time of 25.98 seconds.

Bejita is an example of a young athlete who successfully bridges the academic world with the world of athlete. His hard efforts to keep education first are also part of an achievement in itself that not all athletes can live.

Muhammad Bejita's limitations did not make him give up. he was persistent in realizing his dream because his father was also a swimming athlete. Great, isn't it?
